The eID4Spain19 project has been extended

The HaDEA agency (European Health and Digital Executive Agency) and the project consortium, headed by the project coordinator, the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), supported by ESAM Tecnlogía, have agreed to extend the implementation of the Connecting Public Administrations to the Spanish eIDAS node (eID4spain- 19).

The project will end on October 31 of the current year, according to the amendment to the financing Agreement signed.

The objective of the eID4spain-19 project is to update the platforms of two Spanish public entities to comply with the eIDAS regulation and allow cross-border authentication of European citizens through the Cl @ ve 2.0 system, the two institutions are the Provincial Council of Valladolid and the Andalusian Health Service.

The platforms that will be updated are the electronic headquarters of the Diputación Provincial de Valladolid (DPV) and the ClicSalud+ system of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS). At the end of the project, these computer platforms will be able to authenticate citizens in the same way as they did with Spanish citizens until now.
